Sarah Palin: Caribou Barbie!

and more Palin Palaver can be found here “Surrender Iraq or we’ll BBQ you with the caribou!”)

This image of Sarah Palin as Caribou Barbie was just too good for the Art Predator to pass up. Personally, I’d rather have Malibu Barbie (and I DON’T mean CINDY MC CAIN!) on the ticket–Malibu Barbie’s a homegirl and always so much fun! Being from SoCal, I grew up with Malibu Barbie–she lived just around the corner with her level headed sister Skipper!

I found this image at Mudflats (WordPress log of course!)  which focuses on Alaskan politics. If you have little or no familiarity with Wasilla, home of the former mayor now presidential candidate as well as home to my good friend Dave Staehli (and maybe 9,000 other people), there are miles and miles of mudflats between the ocean and Wasilla. Dave says it’s about 25-30 miles to get to the water but only a mile or two to get to the mudflats…

Now the fine folks at Mudflats provide some original commentary along with posts of various Alaskan political pitfalls found from various sources. And Sarah Palin is providing plenty of fodder for all! From Mudflats:

Behold, Caribou Barbie from the fine folks at College OTR.

Comes with everything you see here:  Dead caribou, M-16, snowmobile, sexy librarian glasses.  She even talks with such phrases as: “I’m a pit bull with lipstick!” “My family is off-limits” and “What is it that the VP actually does?”

  • There’s a Facebook group with 26,000 members called “I have more foreign policy experience than Sarah Palin.” Members talk about living next to Greeks or studying Spanish. You need an account to visit the spot.
  • Best joke of the week:  What’s the difference between Sarah Palin and Dick Cheney?     Lipstick.
And of course, there’s Jon Stewart’s Sarah Palin & the GOP and the gender card on the Daily Show…
No matter your politics, this is worth your 5 minutes plus the time to cut and paste the url!
